Score of 51 tops Conway Regional Classic

An Arkansas Blue Cross/Blue Shield team won the afternoon round at the 18th Annual Conway Regional Golf Classic on June 16 with a score of 51. A Trinity Development team, led by Jim Rankin Jr., won the morning round with a score of 55.

The second and third best scores in the afternoon were a 51 shot by a Centennial Valley Country Club team and a 52 shot by the Windstream team.

In the morning round, a MSCB team shot 55. They were followed by a score of 56, shot by the John Carpenter Farewell Tour team.

Thirty-nine teams of amateur golfers competed during two rounds of 18-hole golf. There were two flights per round. Proceeds from the tournament will build the Conway Regional Health Foundation Endowment Fund which provides support for patient care projects and community outreach programs.

The morning flight winner (Trinity Rankin) team members: Jeff Campbell, Adam Harrison, Jim Rankin Jr. and Bryan Quinn.
