The Knights of Columbus recently recognized Sacred Heart eighth-grader Qualyn James as the winner of the 2014-2015 International Free Throw Championship in his division.  

“Your shooting precision has placed you in the top one percentile of thousands and thousands of participants in the council, district, regional and state levels of competition,” said Carl Anderson, Supreme Knight.

Qualyn was recognized with a trophy at a luncheon with state and district Knights of Columbus officers on Sept. 12 and again on Sept. 16 following school mass at Sacred Heart.
