31 Jul 2011 ‘Rock for Relief’
Sixteen bands and individual musical artists recently performed at “Rock for Relief,” a concert benefitting victims of a tornado in Vilonia.
The event was held at the Vilonia High School parking lot. Among the activities, the Air Evacuation Team flew into the event in their helicopter. Central Events also donated a jump house.
Jeff Perry and Monica Lee organized the event.
“We had around 100 attend the concert, and we were pleased to raise over $6,000 to assist those that lost so much,” said Monica.
Donations can still be made to the Rock for Relief Account at River Town Bank at 1900 E. Oak St. in Conway.
