28 Apr 2015 Rialto Gallery to host 'Art for the Birds'

The Rialto Gallery will host “Art for the Birds” from Monday, May 4, to Friday, June 5. This exhibit of bird-related artwork will include photography, painting, sculpture, needlepoint and other creations from birders and artists from around Arkansas. There will be a special focus on wildlife artists and photographers from Conway County. The Rialto Gallery, located at 215 E. Broadway in Morrilton, is part of the Rialto Community Arts Center under the direction of the Arts Council of Conway County. An open house is planned 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17. Light food, music by Arkansas musical artist and birder Bill Thurman, a special video from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and awards will be part of the festivities.
