What will it be? Italian or Mexican food? With the opening of Milano’s, you can have both.
The Manuel Benitez family has been cooking for 25 years, and the new Milano’s in Downtown Conway offers a simple luncheon menu with Italian cuisine on one side and Mexican cuisine on the other side.
Located at 1020 Garland St., Milano’s is open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The friendly and comfortable atmosphere is immediately enhanced with the welcoming baskets of chips and salsa or bread with flavored butter, depending on what you order.
By the way, as an added treat, if you are looking for somewhere to enjoy with the kids, children 12 and under eat free on Saturdays at Milano’s!
The Mexican menu includes fajitas, taco salad, chimichangas, pollo rico and many especialidades de la casa (specialties of the house). The Italian menu includes cheese tortellini, fettuccini alfredo, sausage and peppers, grilled chicken Caesar salad and creamy pesto pasta.
Also, for your dining enjoyment, you might try the Pasta Jazmin, Pasta Josefina, Pasta Rodineli, fettuccini crawfish or black bean pasta! For those really watching the fats, calories, nutrients, etc., you might consider the vegetable lasagna.
For those interested in something sweet, the award-winning “To Die For” dessert is a rich collection of layers of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries with lady fingers soaked in rum, peach schnapps, Sprite and orange juice mixed with a sweet cream cheese filling and topped with a homemade almond torte.
If that doesn’t appeal, try the cream brulee or homemade carrot cake!
All of the lunch specials are only $5.99. The location is convenient and there’s plenty of parking around the entrance.
