Residents match with Unity

As of March 16, Unity Health is proud to announce that 25 residents will be joining the Graduate Medical Education (GME) department at Unity Health in the residency programs of emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, and psychiatric medicine. After a weeklong orientation with the GME, they will begin their training on Sunday, July 1.

The emergency medicine program has accepted six new residents into the program. Residents include Ryan Zmora, DO, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine; Grant Pahls, MD, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine; Samantha Jolly, MD, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine; Anthony Notto, MD, Ross University School of Medicine; Martin McManus, MD, Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport; and Martin Tremwel, MD, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine.

The family medicine program has accepted four new residents into the program. Residents include Eugene (Gino) Rizzo, Jr., MD, University of Science, Arts & Technology (USAT) Faculty of Medicine; Melynda Sample, DO, Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine; Mary Dadura, DO, Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine; and T.J. Garrabrant, DO, Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.

The internal medicine program has accepted 11 new residents into the program. Residents include Justin Casper, DO, Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Medicine; Anirudh (Ani) Chandra, DO, Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Medicine; Michael Hart, MD, St. George’s University School of Medicine; Maxwell Holtmann, MD, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine; Mohammed “Sammy” Knefati, DO, Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Medicine; Jordan Leach, DO, Lake Erie College of Medicine; William Roth, DO, Arizona College of Medicine-Midwestern; Sasha Sharifi, MD, Xavier University School of Medicine-Aruba; Jozef Schmidt, MD, Georgetown University School of Medicine; Jordan Torres, DO, University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth/Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine; and Michael F. Philippone, DO, Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine-California. 

The psychiatric medicine program has accepted four new residents into the program. Residents include Brian Bradford, DO, A.T. Still University-School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona; Tracy Kaufman, MD, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine; Chris Lewis, DO, Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences; and Brittany Richardson, DO, Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine.
