10 Apr 2013 Relay for Life to feature 5K race
The Conway and Perry Counties Relay for Life will feature its first midnight 5K race at this year’s relay event.
The relay will be held on the campus of the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton on Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27.
The midnight 5K is a fun run open to participants of all ages. The cost to enter is $10 if registered by Friday, April 19, and $15 after that date. Registration forms can be found at Northwestern Sporting Goods, located at 209 East Broadway St. in Downtown Morrilton, and at the Conway County Community Center (C-4), located at 1307 North Business 9 in Morrilton.
Awards will be given to the top three finishers. The race is sanctioned by the USA Track & Field. This is not a timed or chipped event.
