20 Apr 2015 Registration under way for performance of Annie, Jr.
Registration is under way for the Land O’Frost KidStage in Searcy with a performance of Annie, Jr. planned Thursday, June 25, through Saturday, June 27.
Students in second through 12th grade are accepted for the program. The fee for the summer session is $75 (with a limited number of scholarships available).
Meetings will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, through Friday, May 29. Beginning Monday, June 1, classes will be held 8 to 11 a.m. There are only 22 rehearsal days to bring it all together, so attendance is very important.
Directors for this session are Kara Treadwell and Brittany West.
A Tech Class for this production is planned for students in seventh through 12th grades to design costumes, build and paint the set, design lighting and sound, gather props, etc. The class meets noon to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning June 1. Students will be under the direction of Sophie Fuller. The fee for the Tech Class is also $75.
A parent meeting is scheduled 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, at the theater to meet staff and directors, complete registration and answer questions. There is room for 30 performers in the play and 12 tech students.
