Registration open for Job and Resources Fair for justice-involved individuals

LITTLE ROCK — City of Faith, a Little Rock-based reentry facility, is partnering with local businesses to host a job fair connecting companies looking to hire individuals seeking work. The job fair is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Mosaic Church, 6221 Colonel Glenn in Little Rock. Online registration is open at cityoffaith.org/jobfair.

“The job fair is an opportunity for people looking to advance their careers and take advantage of valuable resources,” said Allen Winkler, City of Faith’s chief operations officer. “There will be opportunities to arrange interviews for jobs and an array of resources will be available. Events like this not only strengthen our local economy but also foster a sense of collaboration and growth, ensuring opportunities for everyone.”

The Job and Resources Fair is designed to be a comprehensive platform where individuals from all backgrounds can connect with potential employers, discover educational opportunities and access essential services.

“Whether you are seeking a new job, career advice or support services, this event is for you,” Winkler added.

Participants can expect diverse employers and the chance to meet with a wide range of companies and organizations actively hiring for various positions. There will also be workshops and seminars covering resume building, interview skills, career development and more. Additionally, there will be resource booths where job seekers can access information and support from community organizations that offer education, training and other vital services. Finally, there are networking opportunities, and attendees can connect with professionals and peers to expand their network and explore new possibilities.

“I encourage people to attend the Job and Resources Fair because it is more than just a chance to find a job; it’s an opportunity to empower yourself and take steps towards a brighter future,” Winkler said. By attending, you can:

  • Explore Opportunities: Discover new career paths and job openings that match your skills and interests.
