ATLANTA, Ga. — On Monday, the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released its weekly Athlete of the Week awards, with Peyton Refling winning the honor for the second week running.

This week, she was named the SAA’s Offensive Player of the Week for two outstanding offensive performances after being named the SAA’s Defensive Player of the Week last week.

On Friday, Refling led the Warriors to a 6-5 win over Marian with four goals, including the winning goal midway through the fourth quarter.

On Sunday, she followed that up with a six-point performance in a loss to Illinois Tech, where she netted five goals and provided an assist.

Hendrix is 2-2 on the year and will begin conference play this Friday in Atlanta against Oglethorpe.
