The Quilts of Valor National Sew Day is planned Saturday, Feb. 1.

A local group is partnering with the John and Ola Hawks Senior Activity and Wellness Center in Conway to host an event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Special music and awards will start at 11 a.m. and several veterans will be honored.

The center is located at 705 East Siebenmorgen Road in Conway.
