LITTLE ROCK — This year, Aldersgate After Dark takes on the beauty and languor of the Amalfi coast. Guests are invited to join Camp Aldersgate for an Italian evening under the stars, as they enjoy gelato and wine around the bonfire. 

Ciao After Dark will be held on April 21 from 7-11 p.m. at Camp Aldersgate. Individual ($150) and Host Tickets ($1,250) may be purchased online. Sponsorships start at $2,500. Tickets and sponsorships may be purchased online. After Dark’s first event chair Shannon Aston returns to lead the fundraiser again this year, “It’s so exciting seeing the transformation the event has taken over the years. So, when I was invited to chair the event this year, I jumped at the opportunity.” 

In true Aldersgate fashion, Aston promises plenty of sorprese (surprises) at Ciao After Dark. In the meantime, she shares a little bit about what guests have to look forward to: “We will be spending the evening at a beach club on the Amalfi Coast! Our guests will be able to enjoy an outdoor movie, stroll the market, enjoy gelato, and dance under the stars.” 

Attendees will be able to forgo formal fashion for the night and don their favorite travel wear, beach dresses, sun hats or capri pants a la Jackie O. This casual atmosphere invites new and old friends of Aldersgate to embrace their fun side and explore what it’s like to be a camper. All proceeds from After Dark will go towards Camp Aldersgate’s mission of providing life-changing experiences for individuals with special needs.
