Peten graduates from Women’s Leadership Academy

Conway – Conway Corp Communications Coordinator Yaunica Peten recently graduated from the Women’s Leadership Academy (WLA) as a member of the Class of 2025. The Academy, a program of the Women’s Leadership Network, is designed to empower women across Arkansas through intentional leadership development, community engagement and professional growth.

Peten was one of 19 women selected for this year’s cohort. During the program, the group participated in immersive workshops, leadership training and community service initiatives. Together, the Class of 2025 raised the highest amount of donations in the program’s history and hosted a community baby shower that supported 21 growing families across central Arkansas.

“Being part of this cohort has been a truly transformative experience,” Peten said. “It was more than just leadership development. It was about sisterhood, service and stepping fully into who we’re called to be as leaders. I’m so proud of what we accomplished together and grateful for every woman who walked alongside me on this journey.”

As a WLA graduate, Peten joins a growing network of women committed to fostering inclusive leadership and driving positive change in their workplaces and communities. Her graduation underscores her commitment to lifelong learning and making a meaningful impact – values that align closely with Conway Corp’s mission of community service and excellence.

Her manager applauded her efforts. “Watching Yaunica grow through this program has been inspiring,” Conway Corp Marketing and Communications Manager Beth McCullough Jimmerson said. “We’re incredibly proud to have her represent Conway Corp with such passion and professionalism.”

Peten began her career at Conway Corp in August 2023.
