Church activities: Member of New Life Church; led small groups; and family mission trips.

Family: Wife of 24 years, Lea Ann; children Hannah, 19, Seth, 16, and Marian, 12.

Education: Bachelor of science degree in animal science (1987) and MBA (1989) from Louisiana Tech University.
