14 Jan 2015 Perryville's Lankford signs with CBC

Cali Lankford, a senior at Perryville high school, recently signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Central Baptist College.

Lankford, a daughter of Keith and Lisa Lankford, is a three-time All Conference and a two-time All State selection. Last season, she hit .519 with eight home runs and was 13-4 on the mound with 93 strikeouts and a 1.17 earned run average.

Lankford has led the Lady Mustangs to three consecutive state tournament appearances. “I look forward to coaching Cali, and cannot wait to see what she will accomplish in the 2014-15 season,” said CBC coach Crystal Robinson. “She is a great athlete, but also a great student and individual.”
