A Permaculture Basics Workshop, presented by Stefan Johnson, is scheduled 9 a.m. Saturday, April 29, at H & W Dime and Dollar Store.

Permaculture helps people grow more food in less space with less overall effort.

The store is located at 659 Hwy. 225, about nine miles east of Greenbrier. The event is free but donations will be accepted to cover printing costs. It is hosted by the Centerville Community Group.

The workshop will be held outside and participants are encouraged to dress for the weather. In case of stormy weather, the event will be canceled and a new date will be announced later.
