NORTH LITTLE ROCK — St. Joseph Center of Arkansas (SJCA) at 6800 Camp Robinson Road in North Little Rock will host its 8th Annual Lettuce Grow fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15. Guests will experience farm-fresh fare, craft beer and cocktails, a raffle, art, historic tours, as well as live musical performances by Missy Harris & the Missfits.
Tickets are available online on Eventbrite for $65 and available at the door for $75. All tickets include dinner, drinks, two raffle tickets and live music. The non-profit organization aims to raise at least $50,000 towards its mission of preserving and restoring the historic property (former orphanage), enabling SJCA to continue serving the community through food production, agricultural education and outreach.

St. Joseph Center of Arkansas was first established in 1907. The center’s farm is a designated Arkansas Department of Agriculture Century Farm. Over the years it has served as an orphanage, school, nursing home, daycare and retreat center run by the Benedictine Sisters of St. Scholastica. It is now an independent non-profit organization. The 56,000 SF historic facility and 63-acre farm offer the perfect blend of urban and rural life.
