04 Jul 2022 Pancake breakfast planned for Sunday

CONWAY — A Pancake Breakfast will be held 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Stoby’s. All you can eat tickets cost $6. Proceeds will be used by Community Connections to allow children with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate in an adapted division of the Conway Kids Triathlon. 

The Triathlon will be held Aug. 6 at the University of Central Arkansas. Community Connections plans to purchase adaptive equipment and cover registration fees for children with special needs.

Community Connections is a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families’ lives. Many children with special needs live in a cycle of school and therapy, with little opportunity for extra-curricular activity. At the same time, families of children who are diagnosed with disabilities often lack education and a support network. Community Connections was established in 2005.
