25 Oct 2011 November edition publishes; 501 LIFE segment on KARK Thursday

The November “Celebrating the Holidays” edition of 501 LIFE – which hit the streets this week – will be highlighted Thursday on the KARK Channel 4 noon show.

Each month, 501 LIFE publisher and editor Sonja Keith presents information about that month’s issue.

This edition celebrates the holiday season with a variety of features on subjects ranging from the Greenbrier Christmas parade and other holiday events to festive food and holiday decor.

Features selected from the edition for inclusion in the segment include:

Cover story – The November cover story and a special 8-page insert celebrate Dazzle Daze which is marking its 10th anniversary this year. An annual fundraiser benefiting the Conway Regional Health System, the event has raised nearly $250,000.

Home   – This edition includes several features on different homes decked out in their holiday splendor. Plus, 501 LIFE contributor RaeLynn Callaway shares with readers some helpful tips on decorating and ‘what’s hot for the holidays.”

Feature – In honor of Veterans Day, 501 has a feature on a special Walk of Flags sponsored by the Morrilton VFW Post 4453.

501 in pics – 501 LIFE photographer Todd Owens shares some of the incredible images he captured at the recent Legends Balloon Rally in Hot Springs.
