27 May 2024 New apartments in Little Rock feature custom murals by regional artists
LITTLE ROCK — Gateway Woods hosted a special event on May 16 to celebrate the Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony of its new apartment homes. The event welcomed community members, residents, the Little Rock Regional Chamber, the Greater Bryant Chamber of Commerce, Engage Management and Salter Construction team members.
Attendees enjoyed a delightful blend of gourmet hors d’oeuvres and libations, accompanied by live music and exciting business giveaways. The highlight of the event was the special reveal of two stunning mural showpiece projects painted by local Arkansas artists Joel Boyd and Matt Miller. Artist Joel Boyd created and displayed in his mural design a tribute honoring the late developer of the Otter Creek residential community, Tommy Hodges, who helped make Bass Pro Shops and Gateway Town Center a Little Rock entertainment destination.
The Little Rock Regional Chamber led the Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony, marking the official inauguration of the brand-new property. Guests had the opportunity to hear from the owners of Gateway Woods and the Little Rock City Director of Ward 7. Additionally, attendees got an inside look at two professionally designed model units and the Gateway Woods Social Center and took golf cart tours of the community, which provided views of exceptional amenities.
