22 Aug 2012 National Hunting and Fishing Day on Sept. 22
The Arkansas Game and Fish is celebrating National Hunting and Fishing Day in a big way at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center on Saturday, Sept. 22.
All families are invited to take part in the many activities and exhibits from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free.
Activities will include bow and BB gun shooting, along with demonstrations on fly-casting, fly-tying and knife maker forge.
Exhibits will be on display from the Arkansas Game and Fish wildlife officers, Arkansas Bowhunters Association, Arkansas Knifemakers Association, Arkansas Trappers Association, Ducks Unlimited, Ozark Angler and the National Wild Turkey Federation.
The Witt Stephens Jr. Central Arkansas Nature Center is located in Little Rock at 602 Clinton Ave.
