Junior Main Street is planning the Main Street Mutt Strutt, a 1-mile walk-n-wag in the historic downtown district of Morrilton, at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. This event was the brainchild of the high school students who serve on the board as a way to raise scholarship funds while raising awareness for local pet rescue. Prizes will be given in different pet contest categories. Registration is $25 per person (which includes a T-shirt) before Friday, March 31. Race day registration is $30 per person. Participants are encouraged to bring pet food to donate to local dog shelters. Registration forms are available at mainstreetmorrilton.org.
