Mustangs lose to Pioneers

CONWAY — Playing at home for the third time in the past eight days, Central Baptist College men’s basketball hosted the MidAmerica Nazarene Pioneers on Nov. 29 at A.R. Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (3-7) trailed at halftime and fell 84-71 to MNU (7-4).

MacArthur Reed, Jr., led the way with 16 points while Jason Hunt and Tyler Johnson both added 12 and Dalton Alexander III chipped in with 11. CBC won the points in the paint battle 46-32 and were even on free throws at 10, but never led and saw the score tied once at 10.

The Mustangs are back on the road next Saturday when they head to Henderson, Tenn., for a rematch with Freed-Hardeman. Tipoff from the Brewer Sports Center is scheduled for 3 p.m.
