22 Oct 2025 Mustangs end non-conference slate against Philander Smith
CONWAY — Stepping out of American Midwest Conference play for the final time this season, on Tuesday Central Baptist College volleyball hosted the Philander Smith Panthers at Reddin Fieldhouse. CBC (5-18) took set three from PSU (13-9) 25-19 but lost the other three sets with scores of 14, 21, and 16.

Madeline Freeman added to her historic career with another double-double, posting team highs with 19 assists and 17 digs. Adalyn Dura joined her in double figures with 12 assists while Ava White and Kate Scroggins both posted double figures in digs with 12 and 11 respectively. Blocks were the main stat for PSU as they had a total of 15 blocks compared to seven for CBC.
The Mustangs play their penultimate home match of the season on Friday when they welcome Cottey to town. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. and Freeman will be recognized before the match as the lone senior on the team.
