29 Apr 2013 Ms. Senior White County Pageant planned in Searcy
The fourth annual Ms. Senior White County Pageant will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, at the John E. Lightle Center, 2200 E. Moore St., in Searcy.
All women in White County, 60 years of age and older, are invited to enter this pageant. Contestants will appear in their “best dress” clothes and their favorite “casual or sports” outfit that shows their personality.
On Thursday, May 2, a practice will be held at the Lightle Center, and an early dinner will be held at a local restaurant in Searcy. Each contestant will receive gifts from local merchants.
Ms. Senior White County winner will have the opportunity to compete in the Ms. Senior Arkansas Pageant on Saturday, June 1, in Alma.
The entry fee is $25. Contestants may have family, friends or local businesses sponsor them. This fee must be submitted, along with the entry form, to the White County Aging Program, 2200 E. Moore, Searcy, AR 72143, no later than Tuesday, April 30. Forms can be picked up at the center between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, please call 501.268.2587.
