Mosaic Templars Cultural Center invites teens to design MLK Challenge T-Shirt

LITTLE ROCK — The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center (MTCC) invites Central Arkansas teens ages 12–18 to “Serve Through Art” by entering the MLK Challenge 2026 T-Shirt Design Competition, celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy of service, peace, justice, and equality.

Participants are asked to create an original design that captures the spirit of community service and includes the text “MLK Challenge 2026.” Designs should use no more than three colors and fit within a 12×14-inch area on the front of a white T-shirt.

“The MLK Challenge is about turning Dr. King’s message into action through service,” said Quantia “Key” Fletcher, Director of the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center. “This contest gives young people the chance to express that same spirit of service and creativity through art.”

The MLK Challenge engages Central Arkansas youth in a day of hands-on service projects, honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Teens from across the region can work together to strengthen their communities through volunteerism, leadership, and teamwork, embodying Dr. King’s call to serve others.

Deadline for submissions is Dec. 5. The winner will be announced December 12, 2025. The winning artwork will appear on the official MLK Challenge T-shirts worn by volunteers across Central Arkansas.
