26 Apr 2021 Morrilton’s Century League announces raffle prize winners
The Century League of Morrilton is excited to announce the winners of the super raffle drawings held on April 12 at Point Remove Brewery and presented via Facebook Live: Billie Milligan won the gun courtesy of LK Construction and Church Street Grocery; Christie Proctor won the game camera and solar panel courtesy of Roberson Tire; Carol Zimmerman won the Hobo purse from Merle Norman; McKenzie Beyer won the charcuterie board courtesy of Voss and Sons, Petit Jean Meats, Point Remove Brewery, and Movie House Winery; Holly Beck won the package from Dixon MedSpa; and Edith Stobaugh won the autographed Days of Our Lives book courtesy of Century League member April Talbott.
The grand prize Go Kart from Hayne’s Home Center, co-sponsored by Hawkins Insurance and Edward Jones Investments, went to Natalie Dixon. Century League sustaining member Kara Jones took home the door prize of a beverage growler from Point Remove Brewery. Community members can still view the Facebook Live event on the Century League of Morrilton’s Facebook page.
The Century League raised nearly $16,000 from raffle ticket sales and sponsorships and will use the funds to continue to support community projects like the Free Little Panty, scholarships to UACCM, and Christmas presents and Thanksgiving meals for local families in need.
“As most charity groups this past year, Century League had to change the way we raised funds due to the pandemic, and we were uncertain if we would be able to meet our yearly commitments,” said club president Lyndsey Daniel. “Local businesses and individual community members went above and beyond in their generosity. We are truly overwhelmed by the success of this event and grateful to be part of such a generous community.”
The ladies of Century League would like to thank every community member who purchased a raffle ticket and our event sponsors: Diamond Sponsors – Koontz Electric and Health-Care Pharmacy; Emerald Sponsors – Centennial Bank, UACCM, Diamond State Sanitation, Wayne Smith Trucking, Hagans Dodge, and Hawkins Insurance; Ruby Sponsors – Petit Jean Bank, Colton’s Steakhouse, Mobley Contractors, Morrilton Family Dental, Petit Jean Meats, CHI St. Vincent, and McGee Monument; and Amethyst Sponsors – Magie Ford, Conway County Farm Bureau Insurance, Southside Barbell, Allen and Phyllis Gordon, Crow Group, Harts and Flowers, and Koch’s Body Shop.
