24 May 2017 Morrilton chamber plans business expo
The Morrilton Area Chamber of Commerce will host its second annual Business Expo from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, June 8, in the Sacred Heart Gymnasium, located at 106 N St. Joseph Street in Morrilton.
Local businesses are invited to showcase their products and services.
A limited number of spaces are available for participating businesses. Registration is $175 for Chamber members and $225 for non-members. Non-member fees include a Chamber membership.
The last day to register is Friday, June 2.
The sale of products or services at the expo is prohibited. Booths are 10 feet by 10 feet and include pipe and draping, a skirted eight-foot table, two chairs and a sign stating the business name. Set-up is from 8 to 11 a.m. on June 8. Participating businesses should bring all the supplies needed for set-up, such as staplers, tape, scissors, etc.
The theme for this year’s Business Expo is 1950s. Bragging rights will go to the business with the best-decorated booth.
Each booth must provide a door prize.
Visitors to the Business Expo will be given a punch card to encourage them to visit each booth to be entered into a grand prize drawing. A hospitality room with light refreshments will be available for those working at booths. Food trucks will be on-site with lunch available for purchase.
