Mission of Mercy April 27-28

The Arkansas Mission of Mercy, an annual free dental service clinic for under-served Arkansans, will host clinics at the Conway Expo Center and Fairgrounds on Friday, April 27, and Saturday, April 28.

The outreach is sponsored by the Arkansas State Dental Association.

Doors open at 6 a.m. but individuals begin lining up earlier.

There are no eligibility or income requirements. There are no appointments so individuals are seen on a first come, first served basis.

The clinics are open to children and adults. Services include cleanings, fillings and extractions.

Children must be with a legal guardian until treatment is complete. The guardian cannot be treated the same day as his/her children unless there is another adult to watch the children.

Those seeking treatment should bring: a list of current medications, enough baby supplies for a full day, and a book or magazine to read while waiting. These items should be kept in line. Once individuals enter the building, they cannot leave to go back to their car until treatment is completed.

Services are completely free, thanks to the support of volunteers and sponsors.

Spanish translators will be available.
