Around $15,000 was raised on April 13 during the annual St. Vincent Morrilton Melodies and Medicine as patrons and sponsors enjoyed a night of gaming, food and music on the lawn of the Morrilton hospital.
Nearly 100 people attended the fundraiser.
The Knights of Columbus from Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the hospital’s ladies auxiliary volunteered to make the night special.
The rock and roll band Flashback had guests dancing the night away, all to support the local hospital. The money raised at the event will be used for the emergency department renovation.
Southwestern Energy was the presenting sponsor.
