28 May 2025 Long, Lacey earn postseason honors; both collect ABCA awards
SEARCY — Harding senior right-hander Maddox Long and junior third baseman Logan Lacey have both received numerous postseason awards. Below is the list of awards for each player.

A Morrilton, Arkansas native, Long cemented his place in Harding history with this prestigious award. He is the university’s career leader in wins (29), innings pitched (374.1), and strikeouts (386). This season, Long is dominating on the mound with an 11-3 record and a 2.16 ERA. He currently leads NCAA Division II in strikeouts with 122 in 108.1 innings and is the first-ever Harding pitcher to win 11 games in a single season.
Teammate Logan Lacey was named to the Second Team by both NCBWA and D2CCA as a third baseman. Lacey has been a cornerstone of the Bisons’ lineup, starting 59 games at third base. He hit .338 with a school-record 19 home runs and 58 RBIs. Notably, he became the first Harding player to achieve 15 home runs and 15 stolen bases in the same season, finishing with 19 home runs and 18 stolen bases. Lacey was also recognized as First Team All-Great American Conference and earned a spot on the GAC All-Defensive Team.
