02 Sep 2015 Live broadcasting of Conway football
Conway Corporation will launch Wampus Cats to Go on Friday night with a live broadcast of Conway High playing at Cabot.
For the first time, all away Conway High games will be broadcast live on Friday nights on Conway Corporation Channel 5 and streamed live on YouTube.
Conway Corporation has been broadcasting Wampus Cat football for 15 years
“Fans loved it when we streamed the Bryant game last year,” said Conway Corp. CEO Richard Arnold. “This year they will be able to watch the Wampus Cats live away games on the go. They can watch at home or in the stands, streaming directly to their smartphones to watch replays from their seats in the stands.”
Jeff Matthews and Jim Files return as the Voice of the Wampus Cats and are looking forward to the new season. “I’m more excited about this season than any we have had,” Matthews said. “Being able to bring the images of Wampus Cat Football road games into the homes of fans and onto their streaming devices is something we are thrilled about.”
The Wampus Cats are coming off their first undefeated regular season in 37 years and are led by senior quarterback Breylin Smith, a three-year starter for Coach Clint Ashcraft.
Replays of all games will be shown on Channel 5 at 11 a.m. Saturday and 8 p.m. Thursday and anytime on Conway Corp Local OnDemand Channel 200.
