06 Jan 2014 Little Rock Fourth Annual Tea & Tiaras set for Feb. 8
The Waner Children’s Vascular Anomaly Foundation’s (“Waner’s Kids”) 2014 Little Rock Fourth Annual Tea & Tiaras is set Saturday, Feb. 8, at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock. The mother-daughter tea benefits children and families in need of financial assistance in pursuing medical treatment for vascular anomalies, many of which are life threatening. Registration, raffle and activities begin at 10:30 a.m. Tea time brunch is at 11 a.m. with the program and runway walk to follow.
The event is chaired by Betsy Culp, Sherri Foster and Ashley Haynes, honoring Miss Keta Young as the 2014 Tea Party Princess for her courage and inspiration to others. Honored guests include Dr. Milton Waner – who has devoted his life’s work to helping children with vascular anomalies; a Royal Court – Miss Arkansas Collegiate 2014 Raygan Sylvester and Miss Arkansas High School Aryn Johnson. The Royal Court will be present wearing crowns and posing for photos with guests.
A craft, exciting raffle and runway walk by every princess in attendance will entertain guests. Mistress of ceremonies is Alyson Courtney, anchor – KATV Channel 7 News Daybreak.
