20 Aug 2014 Library to present film on 'Real Moonlight Graham'

The Faulkner County Library will present the Arkansas premiere of a film by the Mayo Clinic: “The Real Moonlight Graham: A Life Well Lived” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.

This original documentary film profiles Dr. Archibald “Moonlight” Graham, an intriguing character from the movie “Field of Dreams” and a beloved physician in Chisholm, Minn., who had important connections to the Mayo Clinic.

Baseball fans will recognize the name of Vin Scully, the narrator of the film, who recently signed a contract to broadcast the 2014 Los Angeles Dodgers’ home games for the 66th year.

The film presentation (35 minutes) will be followed by a discussion and question and answer period moderated by Robert Reising, Ph.D of the University of Central Arkansas (retired) and author of “Chasing Moonlight: The True Story of Field of Dreams’ Doc Graham.”
