The Conway County Library recently received a grant from the Blue & You Foundation for a Healthier Arkansas to purchase an AED Defibrillator device for use at the library.

Library staff recently completed training and patrons can now have confidence that if they suffer a heart or breathing-related incident, staff will provide assistance.

“We would like to thank The Blue & You Foundation and the Conway County Emergency Management Department for their assistance and support in assisting the library to be able to provide this valuable service,” said library director Jay Carter. “It’s just one of the many ways we undertake to ensure we provide the best service we can to our community.”
