Durham, N.C. — On top of his historic 2023 season, Maximus LaMendola can now add All-Region honors to his impressive list of accolades.

The Intercollegiate Men’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) announced on Monday its Division III All-Region selections, with LaMendola picking up a nod for Honorable Mention Attackman for Region V.

This is the second major he has earned this season after being named to the Southern Athletic Association’s All-SAA First Team following the 2023 season. LaMendola led the Warriors with 97 points (68 G 29 A) across 17 games played, crushing school records along the way. He now owns the single-season record for points and goals, and led the conference this season in goals per game (4.0) and points per game (5.71), and was 3rd in assists per game (1.71).

LaMendola ended the season fourth-best in the country for all of Division III in goals per game (4.00) and tenth in points per game (5.76).
