The Koontz Electric Scholarship Fund Inc. hosted its Seventh Annual KECI Invitational Golf Tournament in Morrilton on Sept.13.  

To date, about $46,000 has been raised and matched by Koontz Electric Company, with a total of $92,000. Twenty-nine scholarships have been committed to recipients – Conway County graduating high school seniors.

The Koontz Scholarship fund provides scholarships to Conway County high school graduates focusing on science, technology, engineering and mathematic degrees and specialized training programs. Applications are available at all county high schools.

The 2018 KECI Invitational at the Morrilton Country Club was a huge success this year. The golf course was in great condition and organizers are already looking forward to next year’s event.  

The company expressed its appreciation to sponsors, business supporters and employees who helped with the event.
