Kirby places at Scots Fall Invitational

BATESVILLE – Entering the day four strokes off the individual lead at the Scots Fall Invitational, Abby Kirby looked for her first career win today in the final round at the Course at Eagle Mountain. Kirby, Laney Crutchfield and Thaylia Ramirez all were on course for the CBC women’s golf team.

Kirby closed with an 83 to shoot a total of 162, good for a tie for third, nine strokes off the lead. Crutchfield improved her score on the second day, closing with an 85 to shoot a 172, which was good for sixth place. Ramirez had the biggest jump, shooting a 91 to finish with a 196 and move up four spots in the final standings. The Mustangs are off next week and return to the course in two weeks for the first ever CBC Fall Invitational at the Country Club of Arkansas in Maumelle.
