15 Feb 2012 K-Life plans annual 'Nineteen Eighty 5K'

K-Life of Conway staffers and supporters are getting their 1980s attire together for the fourth annual “Nineteen Eighty 5K” on Saturday, Feb. 25.

Check-in is at 4 p.m. and the race is at 5 p.m.

Organizers are expecting more than 200 runners to participate in this year’s race, which will begin and end at John McConnell Stadium at Conway High School-West. Participants are encouraged to dress in 80s attire.

The registration fee is $20 before Thursday, Feb. 23, and $30 after that date. Registration includes a T-shirt, goodie bag, finisher’s gift, refreshments and other surprises.
