Junior League plans self-defense class

The Junior League of North Little Rock is planning Heels off Gloves OnSelf Defense Class to bring awareness about domestic violence and violence against women.

The event will be held at the North Little Rock Community Center, 2700 North Willow St., on Saturday, Nov. 9. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by a light breakfast.

This event will feature speakers and a guest instructor who will lead a discussion about being aware of your surroundings; safety tips and techniques to use for self-defense. Participants will then receive hands-on training to execute the self-defense techniques.

Damsel in Defense, Independent Representative, Tonia Rollins will be present with products that can be used for your safety and protection.
