The Central Arkansas Planning and Development District/Arkansas Workforce Center, the City of Vilonia and the Vilonia Chamber of Commerce are holding a Career Expo and Hiring Fair from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 10, at the First Assembly of God at 851 Hwy. 64 in Vilonia.

This event will allow employers to recruit from a diverse pool of job seekers for full-time positions in a specific field including welding, the medical field, truck driving, manufacturing, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Potential training and grant opportunities will be available for attendees who qualify, which will open the door to new career paths for dislocated workers and non-college bound students.
