17 Sep 2014 Inaugural 'Risen from Silence' event planned Oct. 16 in Conway

The inaugural “Risen from Silence” golf tournament is planned Thursday, Oct. 16, at Nutters Chapel Golf Course.

The golf scramble will benefit the Women’s Shelter of Central Arkansas.  

October is Domestic Violence Awareness month.

The cost is $300 per team. Sponsorships are available for $250.

The Women’s Shelter of Central Arkansas has been providing assistance to victims of family violence in Central Arkansas since 1995. What started out as a volunteer information hotline has grown into a 24 hour a day, seven day a week hotline and shelter that houses community members in need of safety.
