09 Oct 2023 ILS to host Home for the Holidays, a new event

CONWAY — Independent Living Services will host Home for the Holidays, a fundraising gala, at 6 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Knights of Columbus, 514 E. Sixth St., Conway. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

The evening includes silent and live auctions, music, a cash bar and heavy appetizers.

Proceeds from the event will go to ILS programs and projects. ILS, founded in 1970, offers services for adults with disabilities. These services include: Supported employment; Profiles, an adult development day-treatment program; transportation; group-home living; community integration and more.

Elissa Douglas, ILS executive director, said, “I am very excited for our new event Home for the Holidays. The funds raised will be used to benefit the individuals we serve, including providing Christmas gifts to some of our folks, along with helping to raise money to expand our programs.”
