Illuminate scheduled Nov. 25

The Conway Area Chamber of Commerce will present Illuminate from 2 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, at Rogers Plaza and Simon in Downtown Conway.

Conway’s newest family tradition during the holidays, Illuminate, will feature the lighting of the 54-foot-tall Christmas tree, pictures Santa Claus, horse and carriage rides, miniature train rides, funnel cakes and more. In addition, individuals can enjoy rides on the giant Ferris Wheel that will be located downtown throughout the holidays.

Sponsors include Steve and Claudia Strange, Conway Regional Health System, Petit Jean Meats, TriTechne, Miller Spectacular, AY Magazine, Snap-on Equipment, Nabco, Oral Surgery of Central Arkansas, Magie Smith Charton Eye Clinic, Delta Dental, Corco Construction, Palmer Music Company and H3 Home & Décor.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

2 to 9 p.m.

  • Ferris Wheel ($5 per person)
  • Brothers’ Engine No. 1 Train Rides ($3 per ride)
  • Horse Drawn Carriage Rides ($5 per person)

2 to 7 p.m.: 

  • Pictures with Santa Claus

4:30 p.m. – 5:50 p.m.:

  • Preston Palmer Studios presents local musicians

 

6 p.m.:

  • Christmas Tree Lighting
