01 Aug 2012 Hunters drawn for alligator hunting season
Several lucky hunters have been drawn for Arkansas’s sixth season of alligator hunting. The season will get under way in September.
The season will be from 30 minutes after sunset on Friday, Sept. 14, until 30 minutes before sunrise on Monday, Sept. 17, and from 30 minutes after sunset on Friday, Sept. 21, until 30 minutes before sunrise on Monday, Sept. 24.
The mandatory hunter orientation classes will be held at the AGFC Hope Regional Office and the AGFC Monticello Regional Office on Saturday, Aug. 4, and at the AGFC Central Office on Saturday, Aug. 11.
