31 Jan 2011 Humane Society to Hold 18th Annual Chocoholics Dream Night Out
The event will be held at First United Methodist Church, located at 1610 Prince St. in Conway, from 5 – 8 p.m. All proceeds raised from Chocoholics will benefit the Humane Society of Faulkner County’s low-cost spay/neuter program and the foster/adoption programs, which provide shelter and medical treatment while finding safe, permanent homes for abused/neglected pets in the area.
Now in its 18th year, Chocoholics Dream Night Out is the signature fundraiser of the Humane Society of Faulkner County. Held each February, Chocoholics features all-you-can-eat chocolate, a silent auction, and plenty of opportunities to learn more about the organization and its programs, as well as, the chance to meet some of the adoptable pets in the HSFC program. This year’s silent auction will feature many items from local artists and vendors. Event goers can expect to find everything from aesthetic and fitness packages to custom- made pet dishes, handmade quilts, jewelry and art showcasing local talent in the silent auction. There will be two new elements added to this year’s Chocoholics. Melissa Dunbar- Gates will serve as emcee for the event and live music will be performed by rising country music star, Brittany Conine.
