23 Aug 2011 ‘HOPE . . . a benefit concert’
“HOPE . . . a benefit concert for Bethlehem House” is planned 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Simon Park in Downtown Conway.
The event is sponsored by the Conway Downtown Partnership.
There is no charge to attend the concert, but donations will be accepted. Bethlehem House will be selling soft drinks and event t-shirts to raise money, and the Green Cart Deli will be in the downtown area.
Several local businesses have already stepped up to sponsor the event including Full Focus, Angela Conrad Inc., Sonic, 501 LIFE, Conway Institute of Music and Arkansas Portable Toilets.
“We are sincerely thankful for the support of this community. Individuals, businesses and churches are quick to come to the aid of Bethlehem House whenever we have a need,” said Jill Imboden, development coordinator at the shelter. “The ‘Hope . . . a benefit concert for Bethlehem House’ is another beautiful example of our community offering a hand up to those in need. Please come out and enjoy the concert and support Bethlehem House.”
