501 Kids is celebrating the holiday season with its new edition which is hitting the streets this week.

“With this issue, 501 Kids celebrates its first birthday,” said editor/publisher Sonja J. Keith. “Seems like only yesterday that we were introducing the inaugural issue of 501 Kids!”

On the cover, St. Joseph School students Vince Porcaro (from left), Jordyn Hoelzeman and Annamarie Rawls are celebrating Christmas in costumes depicting Joseph, Mary and an angel.

“This edition has some informative articles that will help parents get the most of the holiday season.”

In addition to a calendar of family-friendly events, articles included this issue include:

  • Making healthy choices in the holiday season.
  • Tips to help children focus outward during Christmas.
  • Healthy celebrations for the holidays
  • Parenting suggestions to understand the gift of time.
