28 Apr 2025 Historic Arkansas Museum Hosts 52nd Annual Territorial Fair
LITTLE ROCK — The Historic Arkansas Museum will hold its 52nd annual Territorial Fair from 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, on the grounds of the museum and their 1850s farmstead, located at 200 East Third St., in downtown Little Rock.

The event will feature musical entertainment from various groups and artists, such as Lark in the Morning, Ricky Russell, Artists United, Sugar on the Floor, and Rocky Clements. In addition, the Arkansas Country Dancers will lead people in old-time dances, including dancing around the Maypole.
The family-friendly event will also provide participants with a fun opportunity to experience a 19th-century photo booth, blacksmithing and printing demonstrations, lawn bowling, leather stamping and learning about pollinators in gardening. The Territorial Fair’s signature beverage, raspberry lemon shrub and ice cream from local vendor, Loblolly Ice Cream, will be served.
The Territorial Fair has spanned five decades and become a much-loved annual event in Little Rock. Historic Arkansas Museum Director Stephanie Wade says, “In May 1974, the museum held a small arts and crafts fair on the parking lot. This springtime happening grew into the Territorial Fair, which continues as a fun-filled event for all with music groups, activities, historic trade demonstrations, and a celebration of community. The Territorial Fair, now in its 52nd year, is a wonderful museum tradition and we hope to see everyone there!”
The Territorial Fair is free to attend. Parking is also free on Third Street across from the museum’s south entrance. For more information about the event, please visit HERE.
