DANVILLE, Ky. — Hendrix midfielder Maximus LaMendola has been named to the Southern Athletic Association All-Tournament Team, the league office announced Sunday following the tournament’s championship game.

The sophomore from Dallas scored a game-high three goals, his fifth hat trick of the season, to go along with an assist for No. 6 seed Hendrix against No. 3 seed Sewanee (Tenn.) in the SAA Tournament quarterfinals April 23.

The Warriors advanced to the SAA Tournament for the first time since 2019 under first-year head coach Jordan Drumheller.
